Football: Loyola pulls out 36-35 overtime victory

Loyola pulled out a 36-35 overtime victory over Crespi in the Serra League, forcing a coin flip to decide the league’s final Pac-5 playoff berth.

Crespi scored first in overtime but missed the extra point. Loyola scored on a Kodi Whitfield touchdown catch, then Conrad Ukropina delivered the winning point.

Crespi missed three extra points and had two touchdowns called back by penalties.

Crespi, Notre Dame and Bishop Amat all finish 1-3 and will flip to decide the playoff spot.
