Football: Johnny Stanton scores again for Santa Margarita

Johnny Stanton’s seven-yard touchdown run with 9:33 left in the second quarter has given Santa Margarita a 14-6 lead over Long Beach Poly.

Poly had stopped the drive with a sack of Stanton on fourth down, but the Jackrabbits were called for defensive holding, giving the Eagles the ball on the Poly seven. And Stanton made them play for their mistake.
