Football: South East wins City Section Division II title

South East has won its first football title since the school opened in 2005 with a 51-34 victory over Marshall in the City Section Division II final at East Los Angeles College. Quarterback Jonathan Santos completed 20 of 29 passes for 317 yards and five touchdowns. He also rushed for 135 yards in 11 carries and scored one touchdown.

Marshall quarterback Anthony Benitez passed for 193 yards and rushed for 135 yards. South East finishes 13-1. Marshall finishes 11-3.
