Football: Tustin wins first championship since 1948

Tustin celebrated its first football championship since 1948 on Saturday afternoon at Angel Stadium after winning the Southwest Division title with a 35-28 win over El Toro.

Tustin rallied from an early 21-7 deficit. An interception by Treshon Broughton with 2:37 left stopped a final El Toro drive.

Tyler Siudzinski rushed for 180 yards in 35 carries and scored two touchdowns for Tustin.

El Toro quarterback Conner Manning completed 24 of 41 passes for 295 yards and four touchdowns with two interceptions.
