Football: Jeremiah Valoaga selects Utah

Tight end Jeremiah Valoaga of Oxnard Channel Islands has committed to Utah, according to Rivals.com.

The 6-foot-6, 225-pound Valoaga is one of the best athletes at Channel Islands.

Another player committing this weekend was Santa Monica linebacker Chris Collins, who’s headed to Boise State, according to Coach Travis Clark.
