Bellflower St. John Bosco just got a lot better with the transfer of standout sophomore defensive backs Jaleel Wadood and Naijiel Hale from Lakewood, according to Lakewood Coach Vince Lobendahn.

Wadood was set to become the starting running back for Lakewood besides having intercepted seven passes last season.

Both played together in the Snoop Dogg youth league.

If they are declared eligible, their athleticism alone should be a big plus for the Braves, who will have to deal with Servite and Santa Margarita in the Trinity League.
