Windward outscored Serra 18-11 in the third quarter to take a 43-36 lead in the Southern Section Division 4AA final at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Jordin Canada has 11 points and four players have seven points apiece for the top-seeded Wildcats. Rejane Verin leads Serra with eight points.
