Girls’ basketball: Campbell Halls dominates 4A final

North Hollywood Campbell Hall led from start to finish on its way to a 66-29 victory over Brentwood in the Southern Section Division 4A championship game at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Natalie Azad made six of eight three-pointers and finished with 22 points and UCLA-bound forward Lauren Holiday, the sister of Philadelphia 76’ers point guard Jrue Holiday, added 16 points and 18 rebounds for the top-seeded Vikings (21-6), who led by as many as 39 points and outscored their Alpha League rivals 13-1 in the second quarter.

Guard Drew Cabral led the third-seeded Eagles (22-8) with 10 points and Kennedy Martin added eight before fouling out with 1:32 left in the fourth quarter. Brentwood shot just 10 of 38 from the field and 9 of 24 from the free throw line.
