In a rematch of last year’s final, top-seeded Woodland Hills El Camino Real shut out second-seeded Palisades 6-0 at Contreras Learning Center to earn its 11th Los Angeles City Section championship, equaling West Valley League rival Chatsworth for the most titles in section history.

New Mexico-bound senior forward Dylann O’Connor and fellow seniors Zoe Fishman and Jackie Hilario each scored two goals for the Conquistadores (22-2-2), who led 3-0 at halftime.

The Western League champion Dolphins (17-5) suffered their first loss in 11 games.

It was the third consecutive City championship for El Camino Real, which was making its 11th finals appearance in 12 years. The Conquistadores outscored their four playoff opponents, 28-0.

In last season’s final, also at Contreras, the Conquistadores edged Palisades 1-0 on Jackie Altschuld’s goal in sudden-death overtime. The teams also played for the 2005 title, with El Camino Real winning 4-0 at East L.A. College.

In the Southern Section Division 4 championship match, Oaks Christian defeated Marymount, 2-1. Senior Bianca Deardorf scored both goals in the first half for Oaks Christian.
