Football: Marmonte League is headed to the Pac-5 for this fall

The Southern Section will release its new divisions for football after 4 p.m. on Friday, but it has been confirmed that the Marmonte League will join the Pac-5 Division starting this fall and the Sunset League will move to the Southwest Division.

The Marmonte League has been dominant in the Northern Division with Westlake, Oaks Christian and St. Bonaventure in its league.

The Sunset, led by Edison, Los Alamitos and Fountain Valley, should start competing for championships again in its new Orange County-filled division.
