West Hills Chaminade has been on a good streak producing pitchers. The Eagles had Brando Tessar, a sophomore starter at Oregon, and Mathew Troupe, who’s 2-0 as a freshman at Arizona.

Now junior left-hander Kevin Lewallyn is off to a terrific start. In 15 innings, he has yet to give up a run while striking out 19, walking three and allowing five hits. He also was a receiver for the football team.

He’ll open up Mission League play on Tuesday against Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.
