I’ve arrived at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario for Saturday’s Southern California Regional finals, and let me just say it’s a terrific arena setting but it’s going to test teams that rely on three-point shooting. Seating capacity is more than 10,000.

Players such as Max Guercy and Marqueze Coleman of Alemany will get to show how prepared they are for the college setting.

Mater Dei’s boys’ and girls’ teams, used to playing in big arenas, could have an advantage.

It’s good preparation for next week’s games in Sacramento.

The first game on tap is the Division III girls’ final between Mission Bay vs. Laguna Hills.

Games in Division I, II and III will be shown live on Time Warner Cable’s Channel 101. Divisions IV and V will be played at Ontario Colony.

Games will be streamed live on the Web at socal101tv.com/prepsports.
