Baseball: Riverside North improves to 16-3

Gabe Franca had two doubles as Riverside North defeated San Juan Hills, 3-1, on Monday. North improved to 16-3 overall.
Capistrano Valley defeated Tesoro, 9-0. Redlands is 18-1 after a 6-1 win over Fontana.
Granada Hills Kennedy defeated Van Nuys, 15-0, with Pablo Gonzalez throwing a five-inning no-hitter. Kennedy pitchers have not allowed a hit in six Valley Mission League victories, all by the five inning mercy rule. Alex Gomez and David Hibbert each had three hits and hit home runs.
San Fernando defeated Canoga Park, 13-0. Freddie Flores had three hits and three RBIs. Hollywood defeated Torres, 12-6.
