The last time Long Beach Poly’s Chris Castellanos pitched against Long Beach Wilson’s Chase DeJong on April 17, Castellanos threw a perfect game and won, 1-0.

On Thursday night at Blair Field, DeJong has been trying to make sure he does everything possible to beat Castellanos. The two pitchers are locked in a 0-0 deadlock through eight innings, and DeJong hasn’t given up a hit.
