City Section to offer recognition for ‘Pursuing Victory with Honor’

The City Section will recognize individuals for ‘Pursuing Victory with Honor’ at an awards dinner on Wednesday at the Castaway Restaurant in Burbank.

Among the honorees are football-baseball player Moises Lopez of Los Angeles High, volleyball Coach Allen Hunt of Venice, basketball official Reginald Mallard, basketball coach-athletic director Kevin Kanemura of Granada Hills Kennedy, cheerleader Angela Gettis and her mother, Lily Evans, from Washington Prep and Virginia and Jim Hancock from the athletics office.

Also, Washington High will be honored.
