Baseball: Get ready for the Boras Classic next April

JSerra Coach Brett Kay is putting together a baseball tournament, the Boras Classic, that will match the top team in Southern California against the top team in Northern California in a championship game scheduled for April 13 at the University of Pacific.
The Southern California tournament, set for April 1-5, already has commitments from Mater Dei, El Toro, West Ranch, Hart, Vista Murrieta, Great Oak, Chatsworth, Anaheim Canyon, Loyola, Oaks Christian and Chaminade.
Kay said he is seeking three other top teams, which receive $1,000 to participate and there’s no entry fee. Northern California has its own 16-team bracket.
