Francis Owusu broke a tackle and turned a short pass play into a 65-yard touchdown to help Oaks Christian open a 21-0 lead over Granite Bay Saturday night in the Battle for Veterans event at Westlake High.

Oaks Christian leads at halftime, 28-10. Quarterback Brandon Dawkins has completed 14 of 18 passes for 230 yards.

Steven Graber caught a 10-yard TD pass with 8:20 left in the second quarter for Granite Bay, cutting its deficit to 21-7.
