Football: Former Hart QB Matt Moore to be honored by his alma mater

Miami Dolphins backup quarterback Matt Moore is returning to the Santa Clarita Valley next week during his bye week and will be honored by his alma mater, Newhall Hart, during the Indians’ game against Saugus on Oct. 19 at College of the Canyons.
Moore, 28, will have his No. 17 jersey retired during a pregame presentation. He led Hart to a 13-0 record during his senior year in 2001.
