For those complaining about how cold it is in Los Angeles on Friday morning, just think what the Fairfax High basketball team is experiencing.

They’re in Abbotsford, British Columbia, for the Snowball Classic. They won on Thursday night, 110-43, against Burnaby South. The temperature outside on Friday morning: -1 degree celsius. That’s’s about 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

Let’s hope the Lions brought warm clothing.

Reggie Theus Jr. scored 22 points, Chaunce Hill 14, Foster Dixson 14, Sage Woodruff 12, Jonathan Brown 11, Pierson Ro 11 and Olisaemeka Nawachi 10.

I can’t wait to hear the stories when the Lions return to sunny Los Angeles. Wait, it’s sunny in Canada, just a little chilly.
