Zach Bornstein of Oaks Christian is second after the first day of the Arcadia Invitational decathlon competition.

He has 3,633 points. In first place is Harrison Williams of Memphis University with 3,761 points.

Bornstein won the shot put with a mark of 50-3 1/4.

In the girls’ heptathlon, Kendall Gustafson of Palisades holds down first place with 3,189 points.
