Baseball: Loyola wins its 12th consecutive game

Los Angeles Loyola (19-8) keeps on rolling. The Cubs won their 12th consecutive game on Monday, a 15-1 nonleague victory over Riverside North.
Quinn Brodey hit a three-run home run and finished with four RBIs. Brandon Caruso and Chad Powers each had three RBIs.
Loyola is in first place in the Mission League ahead of Harvard-Westlake, which is ranked No. 2 in this week’s Southern Section Division 1 poll. Loyola is No. 6.
