Cristian Roldan of Pico Rivera El Rancho has been named the Gatorade national player of the year in boys’ soccer.
He received the award on Monday during a surprise announcement at his school. He led the Dons to a 29-2-1 record with 54 goals and 31 assists. He’s headed to Washington in the fall.
