Los Angeles Loyola has won its seventh Commissioner’s Cup in the last 11 years and fifth in a row as the top boys’ athletic program in the Southern Section.
The Cubs won two section titles, had one runner-up trophy and four semifinal finishes to record 21 points and edge out Gardena Serra. Loyola won titles in track and field and golf.
In girls, Hemet won its first title over Santa Ana Mater Dei.
