Boys’ basketball: Semifinals set for Fairfax tournament

It will be Mater Dei taking on Long Beach Poly and Corona Centennial playing El Camino Real in Friday’s Fairfax tournament semifinals that begin at 6 p.m.

Mater Dei defeated Fairfax and Poly knocked off Orange Lutheran in Thursday’s quarterfinals.

In a consolation game, Chaminade defeated Alemany, 81-69, with Jack Williams scoring 26 points for Chaminade.
