The body of a man found Friday off El Toro Road in Laguna Hills has been identified as that of Jose Manuel Herebia Castillo, 24, of Los Angeles, a spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said. An autopsy revealed numerous gunshot wounds to the upper torso of the partially decomposed body, which was found at a brush-covered site three-quarters of a mile from Laguna Canyon Road. Sheriff’s Sgt. Dick Olsen said the body had been there for several days. Authorities have declined to say how long Castillo had been dead.
