Western Digital Corp. of Irvine Monday announced it has received contracts worth more than $60 million from International Business Machines Corp. Under several agreements, Western Digital will produce a diversified range of products for various IBM equipment, but company officials would not elaborate on the specific product lines.

“We are not only pleased with the magnitude of the business, but with the breadth and depth of our relationship with this respected industry leader,” said Roger Johnson, chairman and chief executive officer of Western Digital, in a statement.
