39th Game a Draw in World Chess Match

MOSCOW —
Champion Anatoly Karpov and challenger Garri Kasparov agreed to a draw today in the adjourned 39th game of their World Chess Championship match.
Karpov is ahead 5 to 1 in the longest-ever world chess title match, which will end when one player wins six games.
