Wising Up Scores in Pasadena Stakes
Wising Up, ridden by Eddie Delahoussaye, stayed off the early pace and then raced by favored Reigning Countess down the stretch to win the $63,950 Pasadena Stakes Wednesday at Santa Anita.
Carrying 116 pounds, Wising Up finished one length in front of Reigning Countess, ridden by Sandy Hawley. Got You Runnin was third, another six lengths back.
Wising Up covered the six furlongs in 1:10 2/5 on a fast track to defeat four rivals and win the $36,950 winner’s purse.
