Man Gets 25 Years in Theft of $150 Worth of Electricity

DALLAS —
A man who was convicted of diverting $150 worth of electricity into his home from a utility line has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Charles Edward Bradford, 25, was convicted under a statute that makes it a felony to tamper with a public utility’s equipment and was sentenced Wednesday under a state law ordering a minimum of 25 years in prison for anyone with three prior felony convictions.
