A Close Call

All those proponents of capital punishment should follow closely the story of Johnny Massingale, who has spent 10 months in the San Diego County Jail awaiting trial for two murders he did not commit.

I was in jail and I talked with him. I could feel he was innocent, yet if it wasn't for newly discovered evidence he might have been executed. And I'm sure most of those proponents of the death penalty would have either liked to pull the switch or be a witness to his killing. To those sickies I can only say, (when you see) Mr. Massingale, take a good look at an innocent man you wanted to kill.
