A delegation of three U.S. Roman Catholic bishops will make an official “church-to-church pastoral visit” to Cuba later this month at the invitation of the Cuban Catholic church, the National Conference of Catholic Bishops said today.
The Jan. 21-25 visit- the first to Cuba by an official U.S. Catholic delegation-will be headed by Biship James Malone of Youngstown, Ohio, the conference president. He will be joined by Archibiship Patrick Flores of San Antonio, Tex., and Archbiship Bernard Law of Boston.
