$17 Million Worth of Cocaine Seized

LAS VEGAS —
Federal agents arrested nine Cuban and Colombian refugees and seized 85 kilograms--187 pounds--of cocaine with a street value of $17 million, U.S. Atty. Lamond Mills said Thursday.
The seizure was the largest single cocaine bust in Nevada’s history, Mills said.
Cash totaling $300,000 and numerous personal assets were also seized by authorities, Mills said.
