ORANGE COUNTY Pick Systems of Irvine has appointed Barbara Breiter controller. Breiter, a former manager of administration and finance at an international jewelry chain, will be the first person to handle financial management in-house for Pick Systems, the maker of a computer operating system. Dale Marco, a Laguna Hills resident, has been elected a principal of A.T. Kearney Inc., an international management consulting firm. Marco, who is based in Kearney’s Los Angeles office, has directed assignments in the manufacturing and distribution operations areas. Wyle Laboratories, an Irvine marketer of high-technology electronic components and systems, has named Jennifer J. Morrison and Monica D. Ruzich as group marketing managers. Plessely Solid State of Irvine has appointed Emmanuel Ukpo quality engineer. Ukpo, a Cypress resident, will be responsible for quality assurance, quality control and reliability engineering at Plessely, a supplier and developer of semi-custom, intergrated and hybrid circuits. Robert Z. Denman has been named vice president of creative services for Ervin Advertising and Design Inc. of Seal Beach. Denman was one of the founders of the Montoya & Denman agency of Orange. Prior to joining Ervin, Denman was a free lance copywriter and art director. The Orange County office of Arthur Young & Co. has promoted three of its employees to the position of principal. Paul Koreneff, who has worked in the Orange County office since 1977, works in the audit department. Also promoted were Jim Pope of the tax department and Pete Stevens of the management services department.
