FDA Approved 22 Drugs for Consumer Use in 1984

WASHINGTON — Twenty-two new drugs were approved for consumer use in 1984, eight more than in the previous year, the Food and Drug Administration said Wednesday. The highest number approved in recent years was 28 in 1982.
