Walter R. Guidinger, previously a corporate executive with Pay’n Save Corp., has joined Rohit Joshi & Associates as an executive director. He will oversee development of shopping centers from the firm’s headquarters in Beverly Hills and at the newly established Seattle division.

Scott Johnson has been appointed director of interior architecture at the Landau Partnership Inc., Santa Monica. He previously served as senior designer for William L. Pereira Associates, Los Angeles.

Paul A. Meuer, managing principal of Syska & Hennessy’s Los Angeles office and a professional engineer for 33 years, is retiring from active practice. Major projects in which he was involved include the Tom Bradley International Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport, the MCA Barham-Eastgate I office building, Arco Center in Long Beach and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington .

Donald Stein, founder and president of Western Industrial Investors, Santa Monica, will serve as 1985 secretary for the National Assn. of Industrial and Office Parks.

Deran D. Yalian and Andrew H. Marks have been appointed to the American Arbitration Society’s panel of arbitrators. Both have been active in commercial real estate investment, with offices in Woodland Hills.
