Sidearms

The U.S. Army, whose personnel carry sidearms in exposed holsters, will probably really appreciate the lighter weight of a Beretta, compared to the old Colt .45, as indicated in front-page article (Jan. 15).

But not, as the story claims, James Bond. The Walther PPK has always been known to Bond fans for its accuracy and ability to not wrinkle a tuxedo or satin pillowcase.
