El Salvador Rightists Propose Coalition

SAN SALVADOR —
Two rightist parties have applied to the Salvadoran Central Elections Council to run as a coalition for decisive elections in March.
The far-right National Republican Alliance (Arena) and rightist National Conciliation Party (PCN) presented the request and indicated that they will unite with a third right-wing party, the Authentic Salvadoran Institutional Party (PAIS), in running candidates for San Salvador municipal offices.
