Bar Exams

Share

The California State Bar reported that passing rates and scores plummeted on the July, 1984, California Bar examination. It also reported that 48% of the whites who took the exam passed, as compared to 11% black, 18% Latino, and 30% Asian.

Why need the Bar break down statistics according to race? Why, in fact, need it even have such information? Must we be polarized into various racial categories forever? If one group of persons has a higher pass rate, so be it.

Such statistics in the hands of our social engineers can only lead to one thing: different standards for different groups. It is time to stop this before it divides and destroys our country.
