“Mom, I’m not a prostitute,” adult film star Marilyn Chambers told her mother via video cameras at a San Francisco press conference to express her shock over being arrested at a room where undercover police officers said she allowed customers to feel and kiss her nude body. As her attorney accused officials of using her as a pawn in a political battle over control of adult businesses, the star of such sex films as “Behind the Green Door” said that her mother “just got over the X-rated films.”
