Flu Toll Rises to 931 in Week

ATLANTA —
Nine hundred and thirty-one deaths were attributed to influenza nationwide in the week ending Feb. 1, compared to 790 the previous week, the national Centers for Disease Control reported Thursday.
Epidemics were reported in 10 states--Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Washington, South Dakota, Wyoming and New Hampshire.
