Men of Distinction, a Southeast San Diego community support club, has donated $500 to the Educational Cultural Complex (ECC), the ECC president said. Students at the ECC, a campus of the San Diego Community College District, range in age from 18 to 60 and are are offered courses in language skills and career preparation. Dr. Walter Porter, ECC dean of students, said the money was contributed by the club to “help our students overcome today’s hardships of unemployment and inflation.”
