$500,000 in Drugs, Family of 5 Seized in Pasadena Raid
A Pasadena police narcotics task force seized heroin and marijuana worth an estimated $500,000 and arrested a family of five, authorities said Saturday.
The Friday afternoon raid culminated a yearlong investigation, police said. Three guns and $3,000 in cash were also seized.
Arrested on suspicion of selling narcotics and possession of narcotics for sale were Jose Ohton Ortiz, 47, his wife, Leonor Salazar Ortiz, 48, and their three sons, Fernando Ortiz Serrano, 30, Ceasar Enrique Salazar, 28, and Juan Alberto Olivos Ortiz, 18.
