USC Receives Irvine Grant
The James Irvine Foundation has given about $1.7 million to USC for facilities and program development.
The funds will be used toward the renovation of USC’s Science Hall and the development of programs to improve the quality of teaching in the nation’s secondary schools. From the gift, $1.5 million will be used for the renovation and $203,228 will be used for the educational programs.
