Four men pleaded guilty in a London court to kidnaping and drugging a fugitive Nigerian politician who was found inside an Africa-bound crate at a British airport last July. The men--Mohammed Yusufu, a Nigerian, and Alexander Barak, Felix Abitbol and Dr. Lev-Arie Shapiro, all Israelis--were accused of trying to smuggle Umaru Dikko, a former Nigerian Cabinet minister, back home to face charges of corruption. The crime was discovered when the customs service, alerted by Scotland Yard, opened a crate containing the unconscious Dikko and Shapiro, the court was told.
