The body of a 20-year-old Baldwin Park man was retrieved by helicopter from the bottom of a cliff near Crystal Lake in the San Gabriel Mountains. He had fallen more than 600 feet after slipping on hidden ice, Los Angeles County sheriff’s officers said. He was not identified, pending notification of his family.
