JB’s acquired Big Boy rights for five more states.

Under its agreement with Marriott Corp., JB’s Restaurants Inc. acquired exclusive franchise rights to operate Big Boy Family Restaurants in Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Hawaii and most of Northern California, including San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara and Bakersfield. JB’s, which currently has exclusive rights for Big Boy in Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico and South Dakota, also will acquire 29 Marriott restaurants--including 19 in California--already located in its new franchise area.
