A Vista man was killed in a head-on collision on California 76 at Pala Road Tuesday morning. Oceanside police said Timothy Oliver, 25, died after his car crossed the center divider and struck an oncoming truck driven by Lynn Reuvers, 31, of Fallbrook. Reuvers was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Police said Oliver apparently fell asleep at the wheel on his way home from his job as a security guard at the San Onofre nuclear power generating plant.
