Houston Man Gets 3 Life Terms, 106 Years in Kidnaping

WASHINGTON —
A Houston man was sentenced to three consecutive life terms in prison Friday for masterminding the kidnaping of a wealthy Mexico City woman from a Washington hotel last summer.
Glenn I. Wright, 42, also was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Oliver Gasch to a total of 106 years in prison on other charges related to the abduction of Edith Rosenkranz, 60-year-old wife of the founder of the pharmaceutical firm Syntex Corp., who was freed unharmed.
