San Diego Sheriff’s homicide detectives are investigating the death of a Lakeside man whose body was found Friday night in his isolated cell in the downtown County Jail, a sheriff’s spokesman said. John Edwin Beezley, 26, was been arrested Friday afternoon by deputies on suspicion of child molesting and was being held on $10,000 bail. The deputy said that after Beezley arrived about 3 p.m. at the jail he exhibited “bizarre and aggressive behavior” toward other inmates and was put in isolation. His body was found during a routine check about 7:30 p.m. An autopsy will be performed next week.
