The State Department said it is continuing an overall review of U.S.-New Zealand cooperation within the framework of the ANZUS (Australia-New Zealand-United States) treaty but will not comment on a New York Times report that a joint anti-submarine exercise scheduled Feb. 28 near Hawaii has been canceled.
